The Main wing and canopy both broke and the wing came off… Not much I could do but watch it come down

Maiden Flight Of An Aerial Camcorder Ship

I hotwire cut some home depot foam for wings and worked a few weeks on this model airplane. The maiden flight went well so I put the camcorder on the airplane the second flight. It’s my own design and I hope to have a dethermalize servo on it later this week. The stabilizer is all set for a release mechanization which I hope will allow safe retrival with out a traditional landing. Stay tuned for more video if it works.

This is a short video of the MX-2 Extreme Aerobatic Scale Electric Aircraft. The winds were blowing more than 20mph with cross winds and gusts up to 40mph during the video! Did the best I could to bring you guys a video! I did have some Alpha FUN with the MX-2! This is a ready to fly package! I will make a second video on a day where the winds are less strong. This is one of the most aerobatic 3D RTF planes I have ever tested. It is as good or better than Extra 300, or the Popular Yak54’s.
